Sales & Estimating | Structural Steel Fabrication Location: Midlands, UK ️ Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication Compensation: £50,000 – £60,000 Bonus Why Join Us? You’ll join a leading, full-service structural steel fabricator known for integrating design, fabrication, cladding, glazing and site installation under one roof. Projects span complex and architecturally significant builds, often with international reach and rigorous technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: Estimate and sell structural steel fabrication projects across the commercial/industrial sectors. Lead bid proposals and submissions for regional & national clients. Engage with architects, structural engineers, main contractors, and fabrication/erection contacts. Perform accurate take-offs, review technical drawings, and propose value engineering. Coordinate with in-house design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Cultivate and maintain relationships to secure repeat and new business. ✅ Requirements: 5 years’ experience in selling or estimating structural steel fabrication. Strong technical knowledge of structural steel systems, fabrication, erection, cladding, glazing, etc. Experience interpreting architectural, structural, and envelope drawings. Commercial mindset, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships. Self-starter who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
