Job Title: Freelance Site Engineer – Renewables Location: North East / Yorkshire Rate: £400-600pday Contract: Freelance | 12 months | Start: ASAP Overview: g2 are working with a leading consultancy who are hiring a Freelance Site Engineer for utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or BESS). You’ll oversee on-site works, ensure HSE compliance, and coordinate subcontractors to keep the project on track. Key Duties: Manage daily site activities Interpret drawings & monitor quality Ensure HSE compliance Coordinate with PMs and subcontractors Keep records & support handover Requirements: Site Engineer experience in renewables or civils CSCS (required), SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred) Able to travel & work independently across two sites in the UK Right to work in the UK Interested?
