Coaching / Training Lead of Product Model Center of Excellence (PMCOE) At Johnson Controls, we are reimagining how we work - building a future powered by product-driven innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainable solutions. The Coaching / Training Leader plays a pivotal role in this journey, serving as the authority for product model and Agile coaching and training. This role is responsible for building our coaching capability, scaling product thinking across teams, and ensuring that our people and leaders are fully equipped to succeed in a product-centric environment. What You Will Do: As the Product Model Coaching / Training Leader, you’ll drive enterprise-wide capability building by designing adaptive learning strategies, enabling impactful coaching, and leading a high-performing team of Product and Agile Coaches. Lead with Purpose: Design and evolve a dynamic training and coaching strategy that supports the shift to a product operating model and builds lasting capability across all levels. Build and Lead a High-Performing Coaching Team: Serve as a people leader for product and Agile coaches - overseeing staffing, resource planning, and strategic vendor partnerships to ensure sustainable impact. Enable Learning at Scale: Develop and deliver scalable learning experiences - from foundational product thinking to advanced product leadership - tailored to team maturity, role onboarding, and evolving business needs. Coach for Impact: Provide hands-on coaching to product teams and leaders, adapting approaches based on context, feedback, and readiness to accelerate product mindset and value delivery. Foster Connected Communities: Cultivate communities of practice that promote shared learning, peer support, and continuous improvement in product management and Agile delivery. Measure What Matters: Define and track success metrics to assess learning outcomes, coaching effectiveness, and progress toward product-centric transformation. How You Will Do It: Champion Product Thinking: Inspire mindset and behavior shifts across teams, programs, and leadership levels by modeling product-centricity - leading through influence, not authority. Adapt Practices to Context: Tailor product and Agile approaches to fit diverse organizational environments and maturity levels, drawing on deep transformation experience. Orchestrate Learning Experiences: Design and deliver coaching and training engagements with precision - balancing structure with flexibility to meet evolving team needs. Iterate for Impact: Continuously evolve strategies through experimentation, feedback, and learning - embracing change as a catalyst for growth. Co-Create with Stakeholders: Build strong, trust-based partnerships with executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to drive scalable, sustainable impact. Navigate Complexity with Agility: Respond to ambiguity and change with a problem-solving mindset - delivering value in dynamic, fast-moving environments. What We Look For: Requirements: 5 years of experience in product management, product coaching, or Agile transformation Experience building product management capabilities and training programs Deep understanding of product model / Agile frameworks and customer feedback loops Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and organizational skills Strategic thinker with a systems mindset and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity Servant leader with exceptional coaching capabilities across individual, team, and leadership levels Expert facilitation and training skills with the ability to adapt to various learning styles Change management acumen to guide teams through transformation Experience with design thinking, human centered design, hypothesis testing, value stream mapping, customer journey mapping, product discovery, experimentation, etc. High emotional intelligence and empathy to build trust and influence without authority Excellent communication and storytelling skills to inspire and educate Committed to continuous improvement and capability development Skilled facilitator of change who takes a collaborative and inclusive approach Analytical mindset with experience in productivity and maturity assessments Preferred: Certifications such as AIPMM, POPM, PSPO, or equivalent Experience managing a team of coaches / trainers Industry expertise in Industrials, Manufacturing, or related sectors Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
