FPGA Engineer

Our client, a global technology organisation, urgently require an experienced FPGA Engineer to undertake a long term contract. In order to be successful, you will have the following experience: Strong FPGA Engineering background, with skills in VHDL/Verilog Solid understanding of electronics and hardware systems, including interactions between software and hardware (e.g., RF over Ethernet) Experience working with AMD Zynq™ UltraScale™ MPSoCs, ideally with functions partitioned between ARM and FPGA resources SC Cleared Within this role, you will be responsible for: Design, develop and integrate embedded software and FPGA components for a Zynq-based waveform system Partition and implement functions between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to deliver efficient, high-performance solutions Analyse system requirements and help shape architectures that balance performance, reliability and efficiency Collaborate closely with RF, DSP and hardware engineers to achieve seamless integration and system performance Identify and resolve hardware–software interaction issues, optimising for constrained embedded environments Document design, development processes and system architecture clearly and effectively This represents an excellent opportunity to secure a long term contract within a high profile and dynamic organisation.
