Role: Learning & Development Trainer - Maternity Cover - Newry Job Overview VANRATH is pleased to be supporting a leading manufacturer in the recruitment of a Learning & Development professional. This role will be accountable for the development, delivery, and oversight of training programmes that ensure organisational adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Key Details: Salary: Competitive Maternity Cover position Opportunity to gain experience at a leading company in NI Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging training programmes in compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards, using in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Collaborate across departments to ensure training materials align with internal procedures and external regulatory expectations. Maintain and update learning content to reflect current industry regulations and best practices. Deliver onboarding and refresher training to support employee competence and compliance. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Coordinate apprenticeship and early career development initiatives in partnership with educational institutions. Provide continuous support and guidance to apprentices, ensuring effective communication between learners, mentors, and training providers. Essential Criteria: Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles. Proven experience delivering training sessions to diverse audiences. Excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Desirable Criteria: Awareness of global regulatory requirements and industry standards. Experience in developing and delivering training content. Qualification in Education and Training (Level 3 or equivalent).
