Maintenance Engineer Mallusk

Lead Maintenance Engineer required to work with a long established galvanising and powder coating company based in Mallusk. Hours of work are 38.75 per week with a starting salary of £40,000 per annum. This role will become permanent after a 13 weeks probation period for the right candidate. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of all the machinery and equipment within the factory. This will include scheduled preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, inspections and testing and maintaining accurate maintenance logs and service reports. What We Need From You Essential Criteria NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Or Equivalent) Proven track record in maintenance engineering with heavy manufacturing equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems and mechanical assembly. Experience working with overhead cranes, conveyors, ovens and extraction systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / manuals Desired Criteria 18th Edition IET Wiring regulations certificate Welding / fabrication skills Knowledge of galvanishing / powder coating industry.
