Operations Manager (Logistics) £50,000 - £55,000 Progression Benefits Armagh Are you an experienced Senior Transport Planner, Operations supervisor or Operations Manager looking for the next step in your career? Do you have a background in transport operations and want to make an impact in a growing business? Overseeing a team of transport planners, as Operations Manager you will be working closely with the senior leadership team to increase efficiencies whilst upholding a high standard of customer service. Operating a fleet of HGV vehicles throughout the UK & Ireland, you will have the opportunity to lead the operations team to the next level, whilst developing staff, processes and service offerings. If you enjoy a challenge, have a good understanding of road transport, WTD and EU legislation and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff into progressive opportunities moving forward. The Role Oversee the daily planning schedule and routing for vehicles. Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis. Work with the compliance manager to ensure that drivers hours are effectively managed and compliant. Assist the maintenance team in managing vehicle maintenance schedules. Liaise with senior management to identify and implement operational efficiencies. You will need: Transport Planning Experience Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties. Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment Good geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland What's in it for you?
