Senior Manager - Accounting

This is a newly created appointment and a key strategic hire for the firm, the successful applicant will work closely within the senior leadership team to drive growth plans in line with company values . The Job Working closely with the firm's Director of Accountancy, your role will primarily consist of ensuring the delivery of all client advisory, accounting, & tax services. Main responsibilities include: Oversee the preparation & review of quarterly management accounts. Review & completion of year end accounts & tax returns. Lead & participate in strategic planning meetings with clients, ensuring delivery of high-value advice. Act as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, ensuring excellent relationships are maintained ^ developed. Identify & contribute to business development opportunities. Manage & coach the accountancy team, ensuring even work load distribution & efficient project planning. Candidate Criteria Candidates who will be successfully short-listed for this position will possess the following: ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience, preferably within a practice setting. Proven track record in preparing & reviewing management & year end accounts. Strong leadership skills, prior management experience would be particularly desirable. Commercial awareness in identifying opportunities for growth & developing strategy plans. Excellent organisational & communication skills.
