Release Manager

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to support a large-scale data and analytics programme within a secure government environment. The role sits within the Minerva platform team and will focus on increasing release management capacity to deliver critical enhancements to the Self-Assessment (SA) Registration Risking initiative. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end release process across development, test, and production environments. Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure timely and quality software releases. Maintain configuration management standards using manifest files and structured release artefacts. Oversee packaging and deployment of SAS DI code (SPKs) and Oracle artefacts (clear-text files). Support migration activities from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4, leveraging CI/CD practices. Facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives. Ensure traceability and auditability of all release components and decisions. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Release Manager supporting large-scale or complex programmes. Strong technical background in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration, and SAS Viya . Experience working with Oracle environments and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent understanding of configuration management and the software testing lifecycle. Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance prior to the start.
