Known for building their own bespoke machinery solutions, they provide technological advancements to the meat processing, bakery, confectionery, dairy, convenience, pet food & rapidly growing plant-based sectors. Our client is known for setting the standard in modern day food production. Role Overview: Field Service Engineer - Nationwide Joining their dynamic field-based team, our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to assist with the service & maintenance of food processing equipment at customer sites in the Bedfordshire area. The ideal candidate will have time served in the field as an engineer & is committed to delivering the highest level of customer service possible. Key Responsibilities: · Service & Maintenance of our client's food processing equipment at customer sites within your patch. · Conducting both electrical & mechanical maintenance works on food processing equipment, including the checking of electrical wiring & circuits alongside the replacing of filters & bearings. · Carrying out field service duties on a planned preventative maintenance (70%) and reactive maintenance (30%) basis. · Ensuring customer satisfaction when visiting their sites by being as helpful, professional & proactive as possible. · Working overtime when required & working day-to-day in the field. Requirements: · 3 years' experience in a similar multiskilled service & maintenance engineering role (ideally field-based). · At least NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, HNC/HND is ideal. · Happy with field-based travel daily & working overtime when required. · Full & clean UK Driver's license. · Strong customer service & interpersonal skills. · Experience in a similar role, within the food process industry is desirable. Package: · £35,000-£45,000 p/a · Company mobile · Company van · Pension · Private health care · 25 days holiday bank holidays · Paid door-to-door · Lucrative overtime earnings (average of £10,000 per annum on top of salary) Candidate location: Luton, Milton Keynes, Watford, Aylesbury, High Wycombe
