Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor - Cambridgeshire £400 per day (outside IR35) mileage overnight accommodation (as required) varied & interesting long-term contract work We are looking to engage with a qualified Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor on an ongoing contract basis to assist a variety of clients in managing their risks associated with water hygiene legislation specifically. This will suit an individual with other clients, who is happy to add further long-term contract work to their portfolio, initially up to 3 days a week and growing. Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor responsibilities include: Travel to client sites across the UK, helping businesses stay compliant with water hygiene legislation and keeping their people safe Carry out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274, cleaning and servicing systems / tanks and reviewing site records and schematics Complete L8 monitoring / sampling regimes (temperature checks, showerhead descales, TMV servicing etc) Deliver on-the-day feedback to clients Create clear, bespoke schematic drawings Attend regular technical review meetings Support the ongoing review of water hygiene practices and procedures Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor profile: Min 5yrs experience in water hygiene engineering, risk assessments and monitoring Hold IOSH Legionella Risk Assessment certification or similar Demonstrate excellent knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 and BS8580-1 Demonstrate experience in L8 monitoring, sampling regimes, tank cleaning etc Confident speaking to a range clients and explaining findings Great with tech – comfortable using Microsoft and mobile software Organised, punctual, and thorough under pressure Full UK driving licence and us of own car If the above Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor opportunity looks of interest, you have the relevant qualifications, skills & experience as highlighted above and you are happy to take on long-term contract work, then please send us your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch
