Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major reinforced concrete (RC) structures package on a long-term civil engineering scheme in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities: Setting out and surveying Ensuring technical compliance with drawings and specifications Managing site paperwork including RAMS, permits, and QA documentation Liaising with the project team and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered on schedule Supporting the site management team with engineering solutions and technical advice Requirements: Proven experience in RC or heavy civil engineering projects Proficient in the use of robotic total stations and AutoCAD CSCS card (essential), SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable) Strong communication and organisational skills Able to work independently and take ownership of the engineering aspects on site This is a freelance role operating outside IR35 , offering a day rate of £350 – £400 , depending on experience.
