Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead post-merger integration (PMI) projects with a primary focus on the UK logistics and supply chain network . This role will act as a key bridge between our headquarters and newly acquired UK businesses, ensuring a smooth and effective integration of logistics operations, systems, and teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Post-Merger Integration Leadership Lead and manage post-merger integration projects for logistics and supply chain operations across the UK; Partner with management teams of acquired UK companies to assess current operations, identify integration priorities, and align objectives; Develop and execute integration roadmaps covering systems, processes, and organizational design; Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, IT, finance, HR, legal, etc.) to deliver project milestones on time and within scope; Track and report integration progress, risks, and key performance indicators to senior leadership. 2. Logistics Integration & Optimization Evaluate the target company’s UK logistics network, including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery; Lead the alignment and optimization of logistics processes, systems, and performance standards; Identify opportunities for synergy, efficiency, and service improvement across the UK logistics network; Support the development of an integrated logistics structure aligned with the company’s long-term UK strategy. 3. Stakeholder & Communication Management Serve as the primary liaison between UK operations, acquired entities, and the global integration office; Ensure clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders; Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment on strategic goals; Prepare and deliver progress reports, integration dashboards, and business reviews. 4. Risk & Change Management Identify integration challenges, dependencies, and risks, and develop proactive mitigation plans; Support cultural, operational, and process alignment between organizations; Ensure compliance with UK legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline (MBA preferred); 7 years of experience in project management within logistics, supply chain, or operational transformation; Proven track record in post-merger integration or large-scale change projects; Strong understanding of UK logistics networks, warehouse and transport operations, and supply chain optimization; Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives; Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and execution; PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred; Must be UK-based with strong knowledge of the local logistics and business environment .
