Join our client’s Engineering & Technical Solutions team at Sizewell B, one of the UK’s leading nuclear power stations, and play a vital role in the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure projects. As a Project Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical excellence from feasibility through to commissioning: Lead the production and management of engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications Manage technical queries and stakeholder interfaces across projects Support contractor selection, tendering, and contract award processes Perform technical reviews of contractor designs, drawings, and documentation Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and engineering investigations Prepare Engineering Changes and commissioning plans Support the Project and Construction Managers in delivering projects safely, on time, and within scope We’re seeking a confident and capable engineer who brings: HND or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline SMSTS qualification (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with CDM Regulations and site-based project delivery Strong organisational and communication skills Experience working on complex infrastructure projects – power generation or nuclear experience is a bonus Knowledge of electrical systems and commissioning practices is highly desirable Security Clearance (SC): All candidates must either hold current SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process as a condition of employment.
