Quantity Surveyor Hertfordshire | London Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience) We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected, design-led construction firm delivering luxury residential refurbishments and bespoke builds across London and the Home Counties. The company is known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence, and meticulous attention to detail across every stage of a project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded professional to take the lead on procurement, contracts, and cost control for multiple high-end refurbishment projects, typically valued up to £5m. You’ll work closely with an Assistant QS and play a key role in driving quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial management of 3–4 live projects. Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and financial reporting. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes. Influence positive commercial decisions and margins throughout project lifecycles. Requirements Proven experience as a Lead QS within high-end residential or super prime refurbishment projects. Strong understanding of the London residential market and JCT contracts. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Proactive, forward-thinking, and commercially astute.
