Senior Communications Consultant London – Hybrid or Remote A specialist healthcare communications consultancy is seeking a Senior Scientific Communications Consultant (Associate Director / Director level) with 8 years of experience in healthcare, medical, or PR communications. This London-based role offers hybrid or remote working options. What you’ll be doing: Developing and delivering strategic scientific communications aligned with client business goals Creating medical communications strategies, advisory board planning, corporate narratives, thought leadership, and messaging for both internal and external audiences Partnering closely with senior client stakeholders, providing expert scientific counsel and strategic guidance Leading and motivating project teams to deliver high-quality communications on time and within budget Managing budgets, resources, and forecasting to ensure efficient project delivery Growing existing accounts organically and supporting new business opportunities Engaging confidently with senior pharmaceutical executives and navigating complex client environments What you’ll bring: At least 8 years’ experience in healthcare PR, medical communications, public relations, or scientific communications Strong scientific knowledge, preferably in oncology, cell and gene therapy, obesity, or corporate/policy areas Proven ability to develop strategic communications that transform complex science into clear, impactful narratives Experience managing teams and projects, with excellent organisational and leadership skills Ability to work confidently in ambiguous situations and ask insightful, probing questions A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and client relationship skills Experience working on global or international accounts is highly desirable This consultancy operates with the agility of a specialist agency but with access to extensive global resources.
