MKJ Ignite are excited to be partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing food subscription brands to hire a dynamic Production Manager to lead their central kitchen and packing operations. Following 300% YoY growth and a major investment into a new production site (launching Jan 2026), this is a golden opportunity to join a mission-driven business at a pivotal moment in its journey. As Production Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operations, leading a talented team and driving excellence across food production, packing, and dispatch. You’ll play a key role in scaling operations, improving systems, and delivering high-quality products that help people eat more whole foods and transform their health. What will you be doing? ✨ Leading a team of supervisors and 40 indirect reports across production, packing, and warehouse ✨ Coaching and developing team leads to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement ✨ Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met ✨ Driving efficiency across workflows, layouts, and processes ✨ Managing stock control, scheduling, and supplier relationships ✨ Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations ✨ Collaborating on strategic projects including NPD, sustainability, automation, and site expansion What skills do you need to bring? ⭐️ Proven experience in food production or FMCG operations leadership ⭐️ Strong leadership and team development skills ⭐️ Deep knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and compliance ⭐️ Excellent planning, scheduling, and stock management abilities ⭐️ Commercial mindset with a focus on cost control and efficiency ⭐️ Confident communicator and problem-solver ⭐️ Passion for great food and building a positive team culture What’s in it for you? ⭐️ Competitive salary (£40k–£50K) ⭐ Bonus ⭐️ Be part of a purpose-led brand making a real impact ⭐️ Work in a vibrant East London HQ with a passionate team ⭐️ Help shape the future of a fast-scaling food business ⭐️ Opportunity to grow into senior leadership as the business expands People are at the heart of everything we do.
