Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty areas License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Basic dysrhythmia testing competency Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours, with the potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4-hour blocks. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
