ITU is the higher acuity adult unit (patients with thought disorder diagnoses), SRAD has patients that live a senior lifestyle. VINE is lower acuity adult unit. Type of equipment : Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: We require coverage for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Please note that days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract. On Call Requirements: NA Floating policy: C/L is utilized where the greatest need is. This includes setting goals, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. Medication Management: Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions. Knowledge of psychotropic medications Must have: Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression). This includes de-escalation techniques and appropriate medication management. Advanced skills needed: Therapeutic Communication: Building trust and rapport with patients through effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.
