Hello, I'm Océane, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area, and I specialize in supporting accounting firms. I am looking for an Accounting Technician for an accounting firm in downtown Montreal, which serves primarily English-speaking clients. Your responsibilities:-Perform bookkeeping and financial analysis of financial statements-Participate in the onboarding of new clients- Stay up-to-date with laws and standards regarding accounting, taxation, and internal practices.- Any other mandate requested by the line manager. Your profile:- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting firm- Knowledge of Microsoft Office- Knowledge of Simply Accounting (Sage 50), Quickbooks, Accomba- Ability to identify (accounting) problems and resolve them efficiently- Excellent customer service: attentiveness and effective communication- Ability to work in a team- Financial analysis skills- Verbal and written communication skills in English and French- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
