Procurement Category Expert

Overview Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Lead, support and coordinate the Procurement Plus Workplace category on a Market Unit (MU)/Country level. Supporting regional target setting in alignment with global/regional/regional P and category goals. Accountable to implement global category strategy and sourcing agreements on MU/country level. Drive category value and excellent service while ensuring compliance with strategy and policies. Functional and managerial responsible for Procurement Specialists allocated to the Market Unit/Country. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop the Procurement Plus Market Unit/Country Workplace category organization in close collaboration with Regional and Global leads. Assess the impact of evolving Country/MU requirements including legislative and policy changes, optimize activities and the business customer in setting up their plans, budgets, and strategies. Lead strategic category management and procurement activities within MU’s and support category execution by leading contract implementation and driving compliance. Manage regional/MU supplier relationships in line with Global Category, develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders. Negotiate agreements with suppliers and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements; involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation. We are waiting for you: At least 5 years working experience in similar or adequate roles in procurement environment. Expert in category management and sourcing execution as well as project management and planning. Good knowledge of procurement and category strategy development and conveyance. Proven experience in implementing complex regional/global strategic initiatives at local and/or regional level. Very strong in stakeholder and relationship management as well as supplier management. Business Degree with emphasis on the areas of procurement, fluent in English, spoken and written.
