About The Position Opportunity Details Medicus has an opportunity available for a locum Breast Imager at a hospital-based Breast Center in Western Oregon. This locum opening offers a structured schedule and a supportive environment dedicated to patient care. Opening Details: Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Trauma Level: 4 (No ER volume). Patient Demographic: Adult patients. Focus: Dedicated Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties. Facilities: Location 1: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms. Imaging Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed). Team: 250 radiologists in the practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician. Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator. Role Support: Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients. Technology: Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
