Employment Associate – Norwich An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (3 PQE) to join a highly respected, top-ranked employment team based in Norwich . Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to support its expanding client base and contribute to the team’s ongoing success. The Role: You will handle a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters , primarily advising clients in the higher education and charity sectors. The work is intellectually stimulating, often involving complex legal issues within large institutions operating in a dynamic national and geopolitical context. Key responsibilities include: Advising on a wide range of employment law matters Managing Employment Tribunal litigation Delivering training, seminars and legal updates to clients Supporting business development initiatives Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers What We’re Looking For: Qualified Solicitor with 3 years PQE in employment law Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness Experience managing Employment Tribunal cases Excellent drafting, presentation and client relationship skills Ability to lead on matters with appropriate supervision Interest in delivering client training and contributing to business development Desirable Experience: Advising large employers or public sector clients Advocacy experience Previous exposure to the education or charity sectors (not essential – training provided) Benefits: 5 weeks’ annual leave buy/sell option Enhanced family leave and income protection Life assurance (2–10x salary) Pension with salary sacrifice option Extra leave for weddings, religious holidays, house moves Confidential EAP and wellbeing support Why Join?
