Service Development Officer Who You Are You are a dynamic individual with a strong background in service improvement and transformation within children’s services. You possess a recognized degree-level qualification or have equivalent experience, and bring with you a comprehensive understanding of national and local initiatives in Children's Services. Your experience spans delivering projects, preparing detailed reports, and effectively communicating with professionals at all levels. What the Job Involves As a Service Development Officer, you will contribute to the transformation and improvement efforts within Lambeth Council’s Children, Families and Education Directorate. This includes identifying service development opportunities, implementing impactful projects, undertaking research, and producing comprehensive reports. You will collaborate with colleagues to surface opportunities for service improvement, evaluate the impact of initiatives, and ensure completion of projects within time and budget constraints. You will also be involved in organizing key departmental events and maintaining communication on service-related issues.
