Solicitor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Commercial Solicitor to join the Vuba team. As Vuba’s Commercial Solicitor you will be responsible for protecting Vuba’s business interests as well as working alongside department managers on drafting and approving commercial agreements. This role will be a central function for the business collaborating with all key stakeholders and will be instrumental in the expansion of the business. As an Commercial Solicitor at Vuba, you will: Responsible for drafting Legal documentation ie. Commercial Agreements, distributor agreements Contract review/ amendments – work alongside territory managers to ensure legal documentation falls in line with company policy. Engagement and litigation Commercial reporting – anticipating Law changes/ risk mitigation/ future proofing. Legal planning Ensuring business compliance Patent registration/ IP Registration Represent the business in any legal proceedings. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in Corporate/ Commercial Law Knowledge and understanding of current legislation. Previous experience as an inhouse council or practice LLB, LLM, MCL, or Bachelor qualification Ability to communicate at all levels and with all stakeholders. Previous experience working in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous but not essential.
