Project Manager (Manufacturing/Capital Projects)

Location: KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Industry: Manufacturing (Heavy Industry) Employment Type: Permanent We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital investment projects within a leading manufacturing organisation. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle (ASDEO process), manage 3rd-party contractors, ensure HSE compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Requirements: Engineering degree (or equivalent) PM certification (e.g., APMP, PMP, PRINCE2) NEBOSH General/CONSTRUCTION Certificate (or equivalent) Proven experience in capital project delivery within manufacturing/industrial sectors Strong knowledge of industry contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Key Responsibilities: Execute Stage-Gate (ASDEO) project management processes Develop contracts and manage turnkey installations with external contractors Own project business cases, ensuring financial and strategic alignment Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to governance, risk, and quality standards Provide H&S leadership for all project phases
