Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are actively seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient clinic located in within the Ozone Park area. You would be responsible for seeing a range of patients who are within the under served community. A large majority are women. Our organization focuses on delivering quality care to each individual that comes to us. You would be responsible for a patient load of roughly 15-18 patients daily. We would consider a new graduate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and have availability for part time and full time. Please see job highlights below .

Job Duties

- Providing clients with understanding of behavioral health programs and designing specialized treatment programs

- Speaking directly with medical director regarding any questions or concerns

- Prescribing medication accordingly if necessary

- Providing clients with oversight as to how their addiction problems started and how to fix them

- Giving in depth psychiatric evaluations of all patients

Compensation-125-130k+ depending on experience

Requirements

Must be board eligible or board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Preferred Active New York state medical license

Preferred Active DEA license
