Specialist Automation Technician/ PLC Specialist/ MIS Technician Johannesburg East Well-established manufacturer. Key responsibilities will include maintaining automation, reliability, process control, and instrumentation systems.  Will also be responsible for doing Level 2 and Level 3 Industrial Automation Qualification: National Diploma in electronic or Instrumentation Engineering Electronic/Instrumentation technician Trade test is beneficial. Managerial experience in the Automation / MIS field  Experience : Process Control Systems and Databases experience PLC/DCS Programming Networking Database knowledge of SQL VB programming Responsibilities: PLC Maintenance and programming (Siemens) Aveva System Platform maintenance and updates SCADA Programming Networks: Ethernet, , Profibus, Profinet. Managing/ overseeing the Process Control Systems and Databases. Programming Visual Basic (VB), ASP.NET VB Scripting SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views SSRS Be able to work on Power BI Maintain and develop intricate and complex systems required by the process control system.
