The Ecosystem Engagement team is responsible for the largest customer facing web application at Square. Building features that support merchants across the ecosystem and throughout their entire lifecycle; as well as acting as role models and setting guidelines with impact across the company.
As the Technical Lead for Ecosystem Engagement you’ll be setting the vision for our Ember app, as well as defining the broad direction and future of frontend development at Square.
Lead and empower an outstanding team of engineers by mentoring individuals, promoting pragmatic engineering decision-making, and leveraging your technical expertise to constantly raise the quality of design decisions and implementation by holding the team to a high standard
Help set broad direction and vision, influence engineering and business strategy, and establish practices to efficiently and effectively address customer needs
Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our various product, data science, operations, and engineering teams
Oversee the success of your team's projects and deliver quantifiable results
Salary range: 162700 - 227100 USD

Experience collaborating with product managers, data analysts, and other engineering and cross-functional leaders
A deep understanding of frontend technologies, and the ability to provide technical mentorship and guidance
8+ years of hands on software engineering experience
