Supervising Social Worker Salary : £41,208 £750 Homeworking Allowance £1,500 Out of Hours Allowance Location : Northamptonshire, Central Leicestershire, South Derbyshire We’re seeking an experienced Social Worker (1–2 years post-qualification in fostering or childcare) to supervise and support foster carers and children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development. Key Responsibilities : Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers Monitor children’s wellbeing and ensure their voices are heard Deliver training and facilitate support groups Complete reports and contribute to carer reviews and panels Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and fostering standards Collaborate with local authorities and contribute to child-care planning Maintain accurate records using case management software (e.g., CHARMS) Participate in out-of-hours support Requirements : Degree in Social Work and registration with relevant professional body Experience in family placement or child-centred social work Knowledge of fostering legislation and child development Strong communication, time management, and IT skills Ability to travel and work flexibly, including evenings and weekends Access to a suitable vehicle Call Melissa on 07561705697 or email melissa@everpoolrecruitment.com for more information
