Its business critical and thats where this role comes in. About the Role This Dual Fuel Smart Meter Trainerr role is all about developing the next generation of top-performing engineers. Youll be the go-to expert delivering everything from dual fuel assessments to soft skills training with full ownership of the competency journey. Whether its mentoring in the field, coaching in the classroom, or helping shape e-learning content youll be leading by example. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality training in dual fuel metering, electrical installations, soft skills, and renewables Assess engineer competency across Smart Metering, EV, Solar, and more Support tooling and compliance checks across the field team Identify training needs, coach for performance, and mentor engineers to excellence Develop and refine training materials and assist with e-learning content Support audits, inspections, and interactions with awarding bodies Collaborate with Operations, HR, and the Training Manager to maintain industry-leading training standards Ensure customer satisfaction remains at the heart of every training outcome What We're Looking For A qualified Dual Fuel Metering Engineer (minimum CMA1/CCN1, MET1, REGT1, MOCOPA) MOCOPA Three Phase, Assessor qualification, and 18th Edition preferred Experience in EV Charging, Solar PV, and Renewables highly desirable A strong coaching mindset and a natural communicator Solid knowledge of safety standards and industry procedures Highly organised, IT-literate and commercially aware Able to work autonomously, manage risk, and deliver training at pace Benefits £41,651 base salary Real work-life balance no constant travel, no burnout culture Opportunities to grow and progress into senior training or operational roles Company vehicle and tools provided High-trust working culture with the autonomy to shape your own day Access to wellbeing support, mental health resources, and ongoing CPD Be part of a company leading the way in smart energy and renewables Why Join?
