Senior AI Strategy Lead Job Summary The Senior AI Strategy Lead will drive the AI-led transformation of the organization, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize credit assessment, risk management, customer/staff engagement, and operational efficiency. The role will involve defining the AI roadmap, implementing key AI-driven solutions, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities : - AI Strategy & Roadmap Development - Define and execute the AI strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. - Identify AI/ML-driven opportunities across credit underwriting, fraud detection, customer engagement, and collections. - Collaborate with leadership to integrate AI into the companys digital transformation initiatives. AI-Driven Credit & Risk Management - Develop AI models for credit scoring to improve underwriting accuracy, reduce NPAs, and expand financial inclusion. - Implement AI-based fraud detection and risk assessment frameworks. - Ensure AI solutions comply with RBI regulations and Fair Lending practices. - Customer Engagement & Personalization - Drive AI-powered chatbots, predictive analytics, and customer segmentation to enhance borrower experience. - Use AI/ML to reduce drop-offs in loan applications and improve collections efficiency. - Leverage alternative data (social, behavioral, financial) for deeper customer insights. - AI Operations & Model Governance - Oversee the end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI/ML models. - Establish AI governance frameworks to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI applications. - Drive automation in loan origination, servicing, and compliance reporting using AI. - Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Work closely with business, risk, compliance, technology, and data science teams to drive AI adoption. - Partner with FinTechs, AI startups, and data providers to enhance AI capabilities. - Train and upskill internal teams on AI literacy and data-driven decision-making. - AI Regulatory Compliance & Ethical AI Practices - Ensure AI models align with RBI guidelines, data privacy laws, and ethical AI principles. - Develop AI-based solutions for financial inclusion while mitigating bias and discrimination risks. Key Requirements Education & Experience : - Bachelors/Masters in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 5 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Digital Transformation, preferably in Experience in building AI-driven credit models, fraud detection systems, or customer analytics is a plus. Technical Skills : - Strong expertise in AI/ML modelling, Python/R, SQL, cloud platforms (Oracle would be preferable). - Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) and Big Data technologies. - Knowledge of OCR, NLP, and automation technologies in financial services.
