QA Automation Engineer/Consultant - Java/Selenium

Job Description : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java. - Select and implement appropriate testing tools and technologies. - Develop and maintain test scripts, libraries, and utilities. - Ensure the automation framework is robust, maintainable, and reusable. - Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for automated testing. - Define test scope, objectives, and timelines. - Estimate testing efforts and resource requirements. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with test automation. - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results. - Generate detailed test reports and metrics. - Identify and report defects and track them to resolution. - Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency. - Develop and execute SQL queries for database testing. - Validate data integrity and consistency. - Perform database performance testing. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Mentor, coach, guide, and train team members on test automation best practices. - Conduct training sessions and workshops. - Share knowledge and expertise with the team. - Continuously evaluate and improve test automation processes and methodologies. - Identify and implement best practices for test automation. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and : Bachelor's degree in any specialization : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Skills : - Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java. - Sound knowledge of databases and SQL. - Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile). - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) (ref:hirist.tech)
