Job Description : Technical Product Manager Location : Pune, India Experience : 10 Years Employment Type : Full-time Immediate Joining Preferred About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and technically astute Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key product initiatives. You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical capabilities, working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful solutions. Your deep technical understanding, coupled with strong product management acumen, will be crucial in shaping the future of our Responsibilities : - Product Strategy and Roadmap : Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned product area, aligning with overall business objectives. - Technical Leadership : Leverage your strong technical background to understand complex technical requirements, evaluate feasibility, and guide engineering discussions. - Stakeholder Management : Effectively engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers, financial institutions, merchants, internal engineering teams, sales, marketing, and support. This requires a deep understanding of their needs, challenges, and technical constraints. - Customer Focus : Maintain a strong customer-centric mindset, actively seeking to understand customer problems, needs, and market trends. Articulate these insights clearly and translate them into actionable product requirements. - Requirements Elicitation and Definition : Participate actively in intake discussions to understand business needs and translate them into clear, concise, and technically feasible product requirements. - Product Backlog Management : Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring it reflects strategic goals and provides clear direction for the engineering teams. - Story Writing and Decomposition : Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria, breaking down prioritized features and functional initiatives into manageable units of work for downstream teams. - Flow Definition : Clearly describe both current and proposed system flows, ensuring all stakeholders have a comprehensive understanding of the product functionality. - Hypothesis-Driven Development : Articulate feature hypotheses and define key metrics to measure their success, evaluating outcomes to inform future iterations. - Effort Estimation and Sizing : Provide initial sizing and level of effort estimates for proposed features to aid in planning and prioritization. - Communication and Documentation : Prepare clear and concise updates for customer communication, internal documents, technical and functional specifications, and internal/external training materials. - Agile Participation : Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Sprint Retrospectives. - Feature Walkthrough and Scoring : Walk through features and user stories with the development team, clarifying requirements and assisting in the estimation (story pointing) process. - Acceptance Criteria and Testing : Own the definition of acceptance criteria for user stories and actively review test cases to ensure they adequately cover the intended functionality. - Demo Validation and Product Showcasing : Validate demos delivered by the engineering team and effectively showcase the product to internal and external stakeholders. - API Requirements : Define and document API requirements necessary for product functionality and integration with other systems. - SDLC Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion focused on technical products. Strong technical background and understanding of : - Web Focus : Proven experience working with or integrating with Web Focus reporting platforms. - Power BI : Solid understanding and experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. - DB Migration : Experience with database migration projects and understanding of related technical challenges. - Reporting Tools : General understanding of various reporting and analytics tools and their capabilities.
