Job Description


  • Provide support for customers primarily via email, chat, phone, webinar, etc to ease their experience on the platform, answer questions, and provide consultative assistance.

  • “Own” each customer interaction. Take appropriate steps to listen, understand, and engage with the customer to find solutions & communicate options.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the EcoVadis platform, processes, & practices to ensure quality assistance with incoming customer queries. Continuous learning is necessary as we expand service offerings and make improvements.  

  • Understand and communicate industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product and platform functionality,methodology, and administrative services integral to the customer's success

  • Identifying risks to the customers successful completion of the EcoVadis evaluation process and actively work to mitigate issues before they happen. Work with internal & external stakeholders to facilitate communication & information exchange.

  • Capture and record internal and customer-sourced insights, then proactively report & contribute as necessary with the Team Leader, Management, & other EcoVadis BU’s to bridge gaps that may exist between customer expectations & participation

  • Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required

Job Requirements


  • Diploma or Degree in a  Business related discipline (Management, Business, Marketing)

  • Must be fluent in English & French. Proficiency in additional languages would be appreciated.

  • At least 1 year working experience preferably with international exposure in a support role (even if only dealing with international clients over the phone)

  • Experience in Online Chat support would be a plus

  • Must be able to speak with a customer as a first level support.

  • Good oral and written communication skills (email etiquette)

  • Customer and quality oriented attitude

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work well in an international team environment

  • Interest or passion for Sustainability
