Quality Enterprises is looking for a bilingual Dispatcher to join our team!
The primary responsibility of Quality Enterprises’ Dispatcher is to plan the daily schedule for the Company’s dump, end dump, lowboy, sweeper, and water trucks and to dispatch the drivers according to the schedule. The Dispatcher will ensure that the equipment requested is the correct equipment for the job at hand. Note: This is a bilingual role requiring fluency in both English and Spanish.

Use dispatch software to plan and monitor the daily schedule for Company’s trucks according to requests made for each job site.
- Ensure that the equipment requested is the correct equipment for the job.
- Dispatch drivers according to the daily schedule, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Serve as a point of contact for the Company’s CDL drivers and field operations management.
- Ensure that CDL drivers are clocking in and completing daily routes as scheduled.
- Oversee driver DOT compliance by monitoring logbooks and DVIR reporting; keep DOT logbooks and required permits current.
- Ensure that truck loads comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Perform weekly Toolbox Talks for CDL Drivers.
- Complete incident/accident reports.
- Manage driver performance with the use of performance reviews, regular feedback, coaching, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Communicate with the Company’s maintenance department to schedule regular maintenance and needed repairs for trucks.
- Create and maintain reports to advise management of statuses, trends, and issues.
- Communicate with field supervision to ensure that trucks are requested with adequate advance notice.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Two-year associates degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years’ experience moving, operating, and dispatching heavy equipment required.
- Two years of management experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of dump truck, lowboy, and flatbed trailer configurations required.
- Thorough understanding of DOT weight regulations required.
- Knowledge of Class A CDL driver hours of service and other DOT regulations required.
- Familiar with GPS tracking for vehicles and ability to learn new software as necessary.
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to think analytically required.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and/or extended hours.
